New Beginnings is a full service relocation and downsizing company. We work with seniors, empty nesters and their family members to transition to their next living space. Moving to a new garden home, apartment, independent or assisted living space is never easy. We are here to ease the stress and help you every step of the way. Let us help you decide which special possessions to keep, identify what to sell and what you would like to gift to friends or family. We can arrange for items to be donated to charities of your choice. Lastly, we will arrange for disposal of unwanted items.
Our comprehensive process will ensure a seamless move from start to finish.
Our first step
We will meet with you to obtain an understanding of your move goals and determine what is important to you. With this in mind, we customize a plan that will suit your requirements.
Next, we will create a 3D floor plan to provide you with a visual layout of your furniture and confirm that everything will fit well in your new space

DECLUTTERING
We will work with you to sort belongings room by room to determine what will move with you to your new home, what you want to sell, give to family or friends, donate or recycle. We will dispose of any unwanted items. Toxic household products will be disposed of safely. Paperwork that is no longer required will be shredded.
COORDINATING THE MOVE
Moving companies will be contacted by us to obtain quotes. We will schedule the date of the move with the mover of your choice.
You will receive a full unpacking plan to review prior to moving day.
We will bring the necessary packing supplies and carefully pack your belongings as close to moving day as possible. All essentials such as bedding and toiletries will be packed on the morning of the move.
MOVING DAY
On the day of the move, we will be on site to oversee the movers, ensuring that everything goes smoothly and according to plan. Once completed, we will head over to your new residence to help movers place your belongings according to the 3D floor plan.
Before we leave your new home, we will make your bed, hang artwork, and organize cabinets and closets.
All packing materials will be removed
All that remains is for you to settle in and enjoy your new living space!
